My Quest to Become a DJ!
About My Passion...
From my days in high school till today, I have always maintained a love for music and performance. Whether it be boxing in the ring, presenting in front of crowds, or singing in the choir, I've always had a love of performing for people and for music.
While I have been blessed to do, and succeed, in many of the things I have wanted to do in my life, there is one more thing on my list which I am yet to accomplish; I want to be a DJ. Not just any DJ, not just some guy playing loud music in his garage. I want to be a headliner. I want my name on some promotional flyers in for a hot Miami hotspot, and I want YOU to come in and jam with me. There is only one problem; I have no DJ equipment.
While I have a few DJ friends who let me spin every now and then and are kind enough to pass on some knowledge, I'll need my own DJ equipment if I'm to meet my goal.
And Here's the Pitch...
I will be accepting donations for anyone willing to help me with my passion. The goal is to raise $2400 in 2+ months (I will stop fundraising on 2/28/11). There will be 3 tiers of donations, $25, $50, and $100.

$25 will get you an invite to the celebration party.
$50 will get you an invite to the celebration party, and 1 additional party I throw.
$150 will get you an invite to the celebration, as well as an IOU for DJ services. What this means is that any time in 2011, you will have yourself a DJ for any event you or your company throws. If for some reason I cannot accept the date, I will return your donation, and then you can decide to donate at one of the lower tiers, or keep the contribution.
Donation Tiers:
Tier 1: $25 - Gets you a Party Invite
Tier 2: $50 - Gets you 2 Party Invites
Tier 3: $150 - Gets you DJ Services any time in 2011. Miami only, but if you require services in a different city or country, please contact me and we'll see what we can come up with.
